Buttock/Thigh Lift Surgery

Buttock/Thigh Lift Surgery
The buttocks and outer thighs are two parts of the body which are often associated with femininity. Having a rounded rear-end and smooth thighs/hips are important to many women. In recent years as both men and women have undergone significant weight loss this procedure can significantly restore proper body aesthetics and proportions. At John W. Bass M.D. Plastic Surgery the buttock/outer thigh lift procedures help both men and women feel more confident about their shape and appearance.

Achieving a more shapely buttock appearance often involves addressing a combination of areas and procedures. Liposuction of the flank region to reduce fat from the muffin top area and outer thighs to create a smooth uniform shape is commonly recommended. Our experienced Phoenix Plastic Surgeon then lifts the outer thighs and buttocks, removing excess skin to lift and shape the back-side. The incision is hidden within the area concealed by a swim suit or underwear and is placed above the buttock crease. Frequently Dr. Bass performs a fat transfer to the buttocks to fill out the buttocks giving a natural and beautiful figure.

If you feel that having a thigh lift or buttock lift would help you feel more confident, we will meet with you for an initial consultation and determine the best approach for your lift. Many of our patients have lost a significant amount of weight, whether naturally or through weight loss surgery. Dr. Bass also offers buttock/outer thigh lift surgery to patients who have excess skin due to genetic conditions.

You may choose to have a buttock/outer thigh lift performed on its own or as a combination procedure, depending on your personal goals and our recommendations. Dr. Bass’ patients desiring body re-shaping plastic surgery procedures in Phoenix are all ages and are extremely pleased with their results.
