Breast Enlargement

Breast Enlargement
If you feel that your breast are too modest in proportion with the rest of your frame, or you would like to change their shape, breast enlargement (Augmentation) may be an option for you to consider. At John W. Bass, M.D., Plastic Surgery we can help you discover the benefits that durable and safe implants can have on your self- image. Our top priority is to use our 30+ years of experience to help you achieve your desired look and feel better about your appearance.

Breast enlargement or augmentation is performed safely and comfortably at one of three local surgery centers in Phoenix and Scottsdale. Incisions are hidden to avoid visible scars as much as possible, depending on the type of implant and placement location. There are three main locations of incisions: inframammary, trans-axillary and peri-areolar. The inframammary incision is located at the natural crease just below the breast, trans-axillary incision is placed in one of the horizontal lines of the under arm and peri-areolar incision is made around the bottom half of the areola. The most important goal is to determine the look that the patient is wanting to achieve. Much of the consultation includes reviewing photos of previous patients of Dr John Bass. Discussing actual patient photos helps to compare your anatomy to present realistic ideas on what is achievable and what the different implant styles can produce. This open communication gives the results the patient wants without being too small or too large after the augmentation.

We know that the reason for choosing breast augmentation is extremely personal. We want to ensure your expectations are realistic and that you choose the right type of surgery for your desired outcome. You can rely on our board-certified plastic surgeon in Phoenix to listen to your goals and make sure that you are informed. Once we understand your needs, we can develop a customized plan for your surgical objectives.
