A non-surgical treatment, Skin resurfacing, using the CO2 (carbon dioxide) laser, is performed safely and comfortably at an outpatient surgery center.  Like any other type of laser treatment or facial peel, the healing process is about 10 days before makeup is used.  With each pulse of the CO2 laser there is visible tightening, lifting of the skin.  It is the gold standard for smoothing the upper and lower eyelid skin texture and smoothing and tightening the lines around the mouth.  The results are visible immediately and continue to improve for two weeks.  As a minimally invasive, non-surgical procedure, the skin resurfacing may be performed on the upper and lower eyelids alone or the entire face feathering below the jawline.  The central face may be resurfaced in conjunction with a facelift to tighten the part of the face that the lift does not improve directly.  To schedule your consultation with Dr. Bass, please complete the Request a Consultation form or call 602-485-1010.
